Dear Passengers,

Rubbernecking is a journey we take in the span of a few hours in traffic looking into the lives of various characters you may relate to. What makes people scream at the top of their lungs at other vehicles ahead of them in rush hour? During the trip, you will encounter some hard working folks spending too much time in the fast lane. We tend to spend so much time on our future, we forget the important things, enjoying life. Our minds are full of so much information. It's difficult to think clearly. We need to be reminded to slow down. We might even get closer to our destination if we slow down long enough to think clearly.

There are those of us who spend too much time in the past and have a difficult
time moving forward. An automobile can take us anywhere. It's faith and hope that really take us anywhere or why go? Our dreams and ambitions are of all types and sizes, but they're what fuels our drive. We, the human race may become a heard of cows following the cow in front of us. If we don't have 'drive', we're just taking ourselves for a ride.

Our title suggests that everything happens for a reason. Anything can lead to a car accident. It's what people do with their time while stuck behind a car accident that takes them on a journey. If we take the given situation and make the best of it, we may learn something about ourselves and each other that we didn't know before. The road physically shuts down, but opens up to the possibilities. If you're optimistic and have an open mind anything's possible.

Why do people seem to love arguing for the sake of arguing? What makes people hurt the ones they love? Communication is a necessity to life. Human beings have the great advantage of sharing thoughts and ideas in so many different ways. We have radios, cell phones, beepers, fax machines, e mail, etc. The technology may get bigger and the products may get smaller, but our need to talk to each other will never change. We can't grow if we don't learn from our mistakes and from each other.

How will we communicate with other worlds if we can't even talk to each other?

Perhaps this is the very reason our cars aren't ready to fly.

Enjoy the ride.
